Balta Sound Marina

Baltasound is home to a substantial and well-equipped harbor, providing shelter thanks to the presence of the isle of Balta at the sound's entrance and the elevated terrain to the north and west. While the small boat marina isn't suitable for visiting yachts, yacht owners have the option of securing a safe berth inside the arm of the primary pier, where the use of fender boards is advisable. Alternatively, a reliable anchorage can be found southwest of the pier.

Throughout the summer, Baltasound's harbor comes alive with a variety of events, including regattas and fishing competitions. Additionally, the community hosts music evenings in the local hall, providing opportunities for both locals and visitors to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
