Collafirth Marina

The marina and pier located at Saltoo in Collafirth were constructed in 1988 on the grounds of a former Norwegian whaling station. The fishing industry remains a significant part of the area's livelihood. The marina provides one visitor berth designed for boats or yachts up to 25 feet in size. Larger vessels have the option to berth on the inside of the pier. Arrangements can be made for electricity at the marina, and the approach to the marina is navigable at all states of the tide, making it accessible for a variety of vessels.
