Aylesbury Canal Society

Established in 1971, the Aylesbury Canal Society was founded with a mission to promote the utilization of the Aylesbury Arm while ensuring the preservation and accessibility of this charming waterway. Today, the society boasts a membership of over 300 individuals, all of whom have developed a deep affection for this delightful stretch of canal. Their shared aspiration is to witness the continued flourishing of this watercourse, ensuring its place within the canal system for generations to come.

Aylesbury Canal Society has long been celebrated as one of the most hospitable destinations for visiting boaters, and the Society is proud to carry on this tradition by offering up to two weeks of free mooring. The Society lies between locks 14 and 15, and the"Welcome Boat" is always open to provide assistance and a warm welcome.
