Portreath Harbour

Portreath Harbour features two tidal basins, the Inner and Outer, complemented by a Turning Basin safeguarded by a Finger Pier and Eastern Breakwater. Presently, it holds a non-statutory harbour status, with no existing Harbour Orders. The harbour serves as a hub for various activities, including inshore commercial and leisure fishing, diving, and leisure boating.

Ownership of the harbour rests with the Council, but its day-to-day operations are managed through a lease arrangement with the Portreath Harbour Association. While the association oversees the operational aspects, the Council maintains the structural integrity of the harbour.
