Aberaeron

The Aberaeron Yacht Club is located at the mouth of the river Aeron, the gateway to one of the most beautiful stone-walled harbours in the UK. The club has been in existence since 1961 and celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2021. Aberaeron has a rich history of boat building and sailing that spans over two centuries.

The club offers sailing events throughout the year, as well as a diverse annual social calendar, with beer and cider festivals, Oktoberfest, Santa by the sea, mackerel festivals, family fun days, Venetian balls, six nations rugby lunches, and more. The clubhouse overlooks Aberaeron harbour on one side and Cardigan Bay on the other.

The Aberaeron Yacht Club are very family-friendly and welcomes new members of all ages, including temporary membership for those visiting the area for a short time.
