Boat Moorings

Moorings are strategically positioned along the River Hull at Hempholme, situated to the west of the village of Brandesburton. Each mooring is thoughtfully equipped with water and electric supplies, and they offer convenient access and ample parking space and can accommodate boats of various sizes, ranging from the very small vessels to those as long as sixty feet.

This specific segment of the river falls under the management of the Driffield Navigation Trust, an organization dedicated to enhancing waterway infrastructure. They are actively working to extend the canal further upstream, enabling boats to once again reach Driffield.

Currently, boaters can explore the river in various directions: heading north upstream to Wansford, east to the North Frodingham Landing, and downstream to Tickton, Beverley, Hull, and onward to the Humber, offering a range of delightful cruising options.
